Honestly its been a steady progression of incompetence since they went to the two ref system and a lot of the older guys all retired. The standards and what they do for experience and prep all changed too and not for the better.

Also the first is gonna be low, the players given up would very likely be more valuable than the pick. A 32 overall isn't gonna help the Leafs anytime soon.

No, I don't think anything that's realistically available would be enough for me to trade Marner. It would take something that doesn't exist.
