Put him in a dome and watch what happens. This was the worst season weather wise in a long time. It was either windy as (frank), or pissing rain the whole year. - Wetbandit1
playoff games at home last year, weather was an issue
the eagle home game was brutal winds a few years ago
the chiefs home game last season
etc
etc
etc
you will not see that on the back of a football card or the worst group of wrs in the NFL that allen had his rookie season

how many qb's would you take over him in a dome where weather is not a factor
allen plays in the toughest stadium in the nfl and numbers will suffer on games with heavy wind, or some wind and temps below zero
the flags never move this had in green bay - homiedclown
Rodgers
Burrow
Mahomes
Brady
Allen
Herbert
Stafford
Murray
Prescott
Tannehill
Anyone of those guys could win the SB and I wouldn’t be surprised.
Buffalo to me has the best all around team in the AFC as long as they stay aggressive with their play calling.

9, maybe 10 of the top 10 passing offenses made the playoffs.
7 of the top 10 rushing offenses made the playoffs. Including the numbers 2, 3, and 4 missed and the top is the 7 seed in the NFC. |

So out of the 55 Super Bowls winners;
47 of 55 = Top-8 scoring defence or better (85.5%)
51 of 55 = Top-13 scoring defence or better (92.7%)
Only 4 teams in 55 years won a SB without a top 13 scoring defence. Ironically Eli Manning’s giants twice, Peyton in 2006, Brees in 2009.
Peyton in 2006 and Brees in 2009 are probably two of the best passing seasons ever.
So if history is any indication, the odds are stacked against Rodgers and Burrow.
Teams that have top 8 scoring defences; Buffalo, New England, Tampa Bay, Tenessee, Dallas, Kansas City.
Brady with another elite defence ? I am shocked

agreed. Davis was thrown to 14 times with only 3 completions. A few uncharacteristic drops and a couple of Josh missed throws. only 3 of 14 to your #2 and it's going to be a bad throwing day. Beasley looks shot to me - not the separation he's had in the past. I'm pretty sure he'll be a cap casualty next year. So, we need a #2 next year as Davis is better as a #3.

Yeah, and he also finished with 5316 yards and 43 TDs (45 total) and the only QB to average at least 300 ypg.
I see you also conveniently skipped my posts showing that rushing didn't matter nearly as much as passing this year.
And using the entire SB era is incredibly stupid as the passing game didn't really come together until like 20 years ago. Sure, guys like Fouts and Marino had some insane years, but today's 12th-15th best would be top 5 in those years.
Joe Ferguson led the NFL in yards in 1977 with 2803, Fran Tarkenton led with a completion percentage of 60.1%, and Bob Griese led in TDs with 22 he also led in rating with an 87.8. Davis Mills had an 88.8 this year.
I mean, for Christ's sake Joe Montana had a 15 year career and is 21st in career passing yards. Steve Young is 39th. |
