I would like a top line of Kane Miller Boeser . I think Kane and Miller are a good mix. - VANTEL
I don't think it's a big deal to sign him for the rest of the year. I think he'll be on his best behaviour for the remainder of the season. Anything with term, like even 2 years, I'd avoid like the plague. Still, I'm silently hoping he winds up in Vegas. Marwood sold me on it with the Dog the Bounty Hunter.
True enough. With Kane I donβt think that itβs just a locker room issue. I think Vancouver might be the worst possible place for him. Well, Vegas might be worse. - CubanBuffet
Kane has a lot of off ice issues . He will either explode or correct it (like McCann)
I thought his on ice product in SJ stood out. I even looked at him as the leader on ice in SJ.
Kane knows he is down to his last chance. I would take the chance and see if it works and if it doesn't oh well see ya.

My Brother sent this to me when he was serving in Germany in the early 80s
I got kicked out of an apartment building in Richmond for playing this on 11 for days on end.
I didn't read the Daily hive but I think they are saying he is going to talk tomorrow - VANTEL
Yeah. Sounds like his agent is going to work the phones a bit. Hopefully he got his cut before termination.
In reality, even though there's no harm in it, I'm not 100% sure about Rutherford answering the phone tomorrow. It's possible that with the stuff that went on in Wilkes Barre, he may be trying to distance himself from any amount of controversy or risk thereof.

Miller would be in his ear for sure π
If Kane can settle in & resigns for less than Boeser it could be very interesting. JR could get back some good pieces for Boeser if he chooses to extend Miller. Scoring would still be ok & more assets to fill weaknesses. Lots to ponder.

Thanks. I think Bloated is the Triumph fan. No Triumph in the collection. I'm switching between hockey games at the moment. - Load Management
Looking forward to the FLA matchup tonight. Huge test on this swing. We saw what the Flames were made of vs top 10 clubs now it's Van's turn I guess lol. Just have to play tight Hockey and claw out some Buttman points.
Kane - maybe, but the guy is a tool. Depends how he acts trying to get signed even lol
I love Miller....but can you keep him and Bo? With Miller being 30 when his deal expires, and wanting + deserving a big raise and probably term....I think we need to trade him this or next year for assets + sign Bo.
The teams not ready to sign a 30 year old guy w/ high cap and term IMO.

Only with the Canucks is this much of the fanbase discussing trading core pieces after winning 10 of the last 12 games

Stupid Bouds turning this team around, really complicating things.
I still think JTM will/should be the odd man out when it comes to the cap and numbers game due specifically to his age. Unless they can sign him on a 3-4 year deal, but I'm super doubtful on that.
Trading him at this TDL gives the biggest return, but if the Canucks are fighting for a playoff spot that'd send a terrible message.

The only 'terrible message' trading him would send is that management is looking at the teams future when it's making moves. Miller makes the most sense, as you said based on age and future salary projections.
