Him along with Tuch, Skinner, and Peterka are why Olofsson is expendable. - Wanchuk
Agree, don't expect Olofsson here after the TDL |

Would love to see him traded with a late first and maybe Bryson or R. Johnson for a young future core guy. But in the end, I just don't want them to over pay him.

With the goalies they have coming up, is it worth trading that much for a young goalie?

I am just saying Olofsson, and I think so, UPL is still a work in progress and Vanecek is a RFA with Arb. Rights so sign him to a 2 or 3yr deal and see which one progresses and by that time Levi or Portillo should be ready or both. Gives you trade assets to |

Love it, and think it was gonna happen when Eichel was traded, but Olofsson was hurt and Whiteside and Martinez were hurt in Vegas at the time. But that's just MO |

Easy to get behind, it's completely unrealistic.

Well with Pacioretty out sure, but why would it be unrealistic |

Theodore is widely considered top 20 at his position
Is Olofsson even a top 75 winger? |

Well obviously other things would have changed in the trade. |

You know he's not going to be the cap casualty. It just makes no sense from the Vegas side.
Would love to be wrong, but I just don't see it.

Top 75 winger, probably. Plus Vegas has a center who's proven to have chemistry with him. Sabres would have to add the Vegas 1st and maybe Bryson or R.Johnson

What are you basing this statement on?
Not top 75, certainly not points per game. 😐 |

Yeah, like the middle first this year.
Olofsson is not good, though maybe riding Eichel's coattails in Vegas might get him some decent numbers. |

I don't think it happens now, they don't have to anymore. Instead of 10m now they only have to dump like 3.5m. But when Martinez and Hague are healthy Theodore goes back to 2RD. And with extending Whitecloud and Coghlan and Korczak they had the depth to move Theodore at that time. |

It's very buffalo of you to dislike and blame the best players. |
