His Calder season was legit but the league hadn’t caught on to him.
2nd season was boosted adding Miller.
Last season he dragged the team down.
This season nobody good enough to carry him.

Summary: He doesn’t drive play & is easy to check down. Has he the skill to overcome yes has he not even close. So either gets some humility & get his shlt together or he’s gone as I predict. Why does he get any benefit of the doubt? He got his 7m+ & isn’t earning it.

Certain players need top 6 minutes to succeed and PP1 time. Pettersson aint gonna get to 60 points with 3L minutes lol. Boudreau knows this. He'll bring him along. Either he gets the chance to succeed here or it may be somewhere else. I am pissed at how Petey is wasting a year of the teams opportunity but I don't want a knee jerk reaction. It has to be a well thought out decision . Positive returns or he needs to lead if he wants the top dollar.

I really get the sense that Miller would rather play in the US. We'll see if he resigns after July 1st but this team needs to trade him in the summer otherwise and not wait for the season to start. This is the main reason people have talked about getting assets for him... not his play.

He earned god status here it wasn’t given. Idc about where he was we got a deal on him. Petey isn’t god & Miller is better than him for cheaper. We get worse moving Miller to coddle Petey given what each has done here.

As for guessing where Miller wants to play I highly doubt he’ll hang around if Petey is pandered to like he’s some special case.

I still would trade Petey if a good return & the assets would be substantial. He can take his act to MSG & start a clothing line.
