F'n love winter storms, like all snow ones, but we only had one so far, some years we can have 10 or more...perhaps we will, yet...the rest of the storms have either been changing to rain or all rain so far. It was a really white Christmas though and there's been a lot of pond skating on the go for the little guy and I...just not one bit of sliding or snowboarding done yet : /

Up here we have so many ploughs and road crews for storms, we're ready all the time. I mean, 10 to 15cm(3.9 to 5.9 inches) snowfalls aren't considered storms here and everything stays open...school buses stay on the road haha. My mom worked a year as a dialysis nurse in the University North Carolina in early 2000's and the whole place was shut down for a few days because of an inch of snow and no wind haha....totally different world than here.

Will it stay cold for long? I have my doubts the houses and plumbing are as insulated there are as they are here. It was crazy seeing all the sh!t going on in Texas last year when that extreme cold hit there.
