Bucs won a Superbowl with Antonio Brown last year and he is way worse of a teammate and human than Kane could ever hope to be. The negative impact of "bad eggs" in a locker room is overblown. Kane is a good player and will help the Oilers serious depth problem even if he sucks as a person. Oilers kinda have nothing to lose anyway.

I'm with you. They have nothing to lose. It will be pennies on the dollar. And Holland has a long history of bringing guys with baggage onto the roster.

Maybe I have something wrong here. The Florida teams don’t need Kane to make the playoffs. But Edmonton does. Edmonton plays half their games in Edmonton. Bertuzzi can’t play in Canada. Toronto is the only team from Canada that could play either of the Florida teams until the SCF. It’s not likely that Winnipeg or Calgary will be playing in the SCF. I’m willing to learn if I’m missing something.

Bettman promised tight all team in to the end and no Dynasty with the salary crap 😆 League already set before the 40 game mark 🙈
