Another GREAT game but Ep40 becoming the new Loui - VANTEL
Has been done before maybe a 'two week conditioning stint' is in order in the AHL? Get a few goals and some confidence. Playing way too passive like he doesn't want to get hurt.

He's not. Still too much 'Sedin' in him. |

Why I see Petey gets traded…
He’s not playing good
He can get us good pieces
We have enough scoring to build around
We have holes to fix
Organizational depth needed
Add good draft picks
Not forced to the trade unless…
Top 4 RHD comes back
Stud LHD if Hughes can swap sides
Added sweetner(s)
Not selling low there is a deal out there - Nighthawk
Just can't see it until next year. They will provide him a chance to bounce back. Makes no sense to move him now.

Disagree. You trade him when the deal comes around that makes sense. Whether that is now or in the off season is up to the return. |

I really don't see them trading Petey unless an offer comes along that is a HUGE over-payment. Let Bruce work his magic – Petey had a bad/uninspired off-season, for the competitor he is I'd thinking he'll refocus and drop his ego a bit this next one. |

Yup I never believed set certain dates. A deal can be done anytime it comes along or is explored. TDL & offseason are not the only time. |

Why do ppl want or expect a huge over payment? Why not just a good deal that both teams like for needs? |

Klingberg hard NO. I'm not trading Petey for older Sami Salo type player
Schneider+ YES
Sanderson+ Maybe depends on what + is
Chychrun YES part of a package deal
Newhook/Byram Was a YES, but Byram's concussion trail makes it a no
Dahlin YES
I want a team built from the back end out, with Demko in net of course. We have Hughes and EkL, if we add Dahlin, there is the makings of a solid D core for years to come. With that, they can hopefully keep it solid through the draft. This team has never built that way, and I would like to see them try to. |

Boudreau may want to rethink Petey as net front on the PP though. - Load Management
Looks like Gabby heard you…
''I liked the compete,'' Boudreau said. ''I thought we were much better than the other night, for sure. Anytime you can limit that team to 21 shots (on goal), I think we've done a good job. But at the same time, we had opportunities.''
''We had four power plays and you don't get anything,'' he added. ''That's my fault for putting the same guys back out there all the time. That's got to get better. We're a team that needs to have some success on the power play and we didn't get it.''
I like Boudreau’s honesty during interviews. Gives more than your typical coaching sound bites. |

I could use some investment ideas/help.
We sold & moved to remove debt. We didn’t buy debt free we got a 65% mortgage instead. Money is cheap as in 1.3% variable so we can invest instead of tied up in the fully paid house. - Nighthawk
Life is adversity & how ppl meet the challenge. Nobody can do what we have to do for ourselves. |

I think there is a culture of professional development/teaching in the NHL. It’s a fraternity and they like to keep their own within the game even after retirement. Teams take on projects to teach and develop coaching or management skills.
Much like what happens in broadcasting. Bieksa as an example. Let them learn while on the job.
Obviously, someone sees something in King that makes it worthwhile developing. Canucks might not benefit from King’s tutorage but some team will in the future. |
