It's a good effort but there is still a ways to go.

The Travis Green moral victories were getting buried in your own zone and having Demko/Marko stand on their heads all game to keep the team in it. At least these ones are entertaining.

Moral victories are great

The effort is there. More than could be said earlier in the year.

Green's team couldn't even show up against bottom feeders let alone the leagues top teams.

He's always had that skillfulness, he was a goal scorer in his junior/uni days. Had a 32 goal year at U of M

good for the bottom 6 not so good for the top 6?

I am enjoying the game . It may seem like I am complaining but I am not.

Yeah but a lot of 4th line scrubs were scoring forwards in junior. That’s why people laugh when GM’s draft a bottom 6 junior player(unless it’s a guy on a stacked team), you have to be able to be a go-to guy in junior to even become a fringe NHL’er

Personally I've always thought it was apparent in his game since playing for Van that he had more skill than your regular 4th line scrub

It helps having Petey in the bottom six.

fair, he's mostly played with scrubs and usually leads his line in goals so it makes sense

Boudreau may want to rethink Petey as net front on the PP though.

Petey's the 13th forward nowadays, I've never seen someone being carried by his linemates like that before now

I don't get it either, is it a mind (frank) strategy? Why put your lightest/weakaest forward on front of the net?

Not sure how King survived the purge. He must've been nice to Aquillini at a staff dinner or something. There's team with less talent doing better on the PP.

Imagine how good he'll be when he's on a winning team.
