I was the perfect age during the Raw versus Nitro ratings war.

I stopped watching for a long time, then I moved down the Orlando and with the training center down here, I got to know a lot of the wrestlers in NXT before the moved up to the main roster, I kinda got sucked back in.

I am not a die hard fan by any stretch, but I will watch the big PPV's

Yeah me too. As a kid, grew up when HBK, Bret Hart, Stone Cold and the Rock and all them became huge during the Monday night wars.

I actually like to follow a lot of the backstage stuff. All the dirt sheets and drama, and how seriously they all still take themselves.

Like. Seth Rollins is terrible. But he's "the best" they have in WWE. The way these people talk on social media, out of kayfabe, makes you realize how delusional they are. They seriously think they're all real life tough guys and the stuff is real

The stuff is completely unwatchable these days. It looks like they're all dancing together, lubed up in baby oil. Half-naked.

I have friends who are really good friends with Kevin Owens and I have met him a few times, I also met Adam Cole and Britt Baker at a party for one of my daughters teammates (his mom works for a dentist that Baker works with). I try to not ask them about their jobs, but I like the history behind it.

My wife laughs at me but that's nothing new

about 15 years ago, there was a huge wrestling pay per view

my friend who watched it weekly like a religious experience asked me and my wife to come out and watch it at a bar with a few of their other friends

he said each person was going to put in $25 and whoever picked the most winners takes the pot


I had not watched a single match in probably 4 years so before each match I asked the back story and current drama

at the end of the night I picked every match correct except for a sympathy pick for ric flair and walked out of the bar with $250

That's super cool! KO is one of the better guys these days, but I really do not understand the appeal of Adam Cole. He's a flabby little baby and Pat McAfee made him look like a chump in his first ever match.

Hope he's a nice guy IRL, but I don't understand his appeal with the fandom.
