I wish I had a dollar every time you said that! You have zero creditability here because you have to protect anyone who Hextall drafted! The bottom line is Sanheim was out of position, and the Rangers tied it. I'm not interested in any excuses you want to give! I just hope the Flyers can unload this bum soon! - jd250
He wasn’t the only one.
But they are gutless. Coach pretty much said so. |

I know his stats, all I'm saying is if the Flyers were just a little competent offensively they could have had a few goals tonight |

Good for you guys…. from Henrik to this guy. Must be nice.
Hart is an excellent NHL goalie. Struggles a bit upstairs, but the team in front of him is awful. Ruining him. |

Nice to see captain claude playing his usual defense on the game winner. Way to lead 👏 |

We can dispose of the Hextall rhetoric and look at the play. You are completely incorrect that Sanheim was out of position on the play. Sanheim was up defending the blueline and defending the point of attack. Sanheim played it exactly how he should've. I would really suggest to you a basic course in defensive zone coverage. There are numerous websites where you can learn the basics of it.
Look at the coverage when Fox has the puck at the blueline. If Sanheim isn't there, he has a path to the net. Both Laughton and Konecny on the back side got beat to the net. They are the culprits on the goal. Sanheim played his position perfectly on the play. |

I mean, if it were perfect he would have prevented Fox from making the play. Positioning is debatable. His lack of any sort of hustle back to the net was noticeable. Do they teach coasting on those sites? |

Laughton and Konecny are who coasted back to the net. There is no way Sanheim or any other player could've gotten back to the net there from where he was at.

This Rangers team is just better in every facet of the game...they have been playing with the Flyers and simply turned it on when they had to. Am I supposed to be happy we didn't lose by 10? The Flyers are losing because they have so many average and below players on the ice. This team is bad because management from ownership on down is and has been horrible. I see arguments about who was worse...i have news....Clarke, Holmgren, Hextall, and now Fletcher have one thing in common....they all have General Managed this team into oblivion. And the one thing that has remained consistent is current ownership... - DANCER
Great post.

Wanna see a tape of a bad hockey team? Just watch tonight's game. Bad teams find ways to lose. Please trade Konecny tomorrow!!! He has now gone 20 straight games without a goal. He was actually in position to prevent the tying goal, but he didn't bear down as usual. I am totally sick of his lazy arse plays! GTFO!!! Wow, four more years of Hayes. Dude has to be the slowest skater in the entire NHL. Did JVR play tonight? I think I heard his name mentioned ONCE! York is an NHL player and Frost isn't!! Prove me wrong. |

Has any team in the NHL ever had two 10 game losing streaks in the same season? |

Konecny did screw up on the game winner and didn't score but he generated a bunch of chances tonight. One of the better game offensively he has played in a while. Still not good enough but improved. Frost isn't going to be effective playing on the 4th line.

I don't need to remember something that is way off base. I'm amazed that some fans have the opinion that Hextall should've completely rebuilt the team and fixed the issues the team had, that had been going on for over a decade. It took Hextall over 3 years just to straighten out the cap and build up the prospect base. Hextall didn't fail. He wasn't permitted to see it through. Look what the defense was when Hextall took over. You think that in 5 years with the cap issues and no prospects that he should've been able to complete rebuild the defense, the forward ranks and the goaltending? Not realistic. - MJL
How much more time did Hexy need?
Figured I’d ask again since this basic question continues to go unanswered.
If you know the answer then can you tell the flyers?
Cause they asked the same question and are still waiting on Hexy for an answer.

It’s sad when we are arguing on who coasted more. 😂
I wonder if the players on this team are as critical of their own performances as we are.
I bet we all know the answer to that question. |

The trailer scored. All he had to do was turn and hustle back. He’s not the only culprit, but he didn’t make any effort to get back in the play.
Btw, if you’re going to step up at the blue line, you need to know you have back checkers and get in the passing lanes. None of that happened. |

You keep asking that question. It is an asinine question. Can you answer how much time Fletcher needs? Of course you can't. Your post here makes zero sense.

Watch the York goal again. The entire replay and please tell me again that Frost is not playing w good players when his winger was an animal on a goal that started out w Frost wildly tossing the puck in his own slot.
There is nothing Yeo would like more than for Frost to succeed, but similar to the beginning of the year, Frost actually needs to show up..
