I don’t disagree. But still think he should have made the save. Wilson was probably five feet higher than the hash marks maybe 25-30 feet to the net. No screen, tip and not a one timer. Should have had it.

That is what I was saying earlier in this thread. Varly made a more difficult save on Ovie closer later in the game.

Hopefully he lined up the team and gave them all a swift kick in the butt after the game. They were flat all around today.

Game was very sloppy. They were also trying to make the perfect play. Just throw pucks at the net.

Look, would we have loved Varly making that save? Of course but with the amount of time Wilson had in the slot you can’t blame Varly there.
