Haven’t watched the past few games, typical American now with way too many things to be doing other than sitting at home watching tv during the day. 23°C today, partly cloudy though.
Three really tough teams for the Canucks to face, not to worry though, the organization is transitioning out of nearly a decade of poor management and coaching. Baby steps folks, just have faith in the process - we’re in a much better place
Bills vs Patriots game is great!! - LeftCoaster

JR should listen to any offers for anyone.other than demko, Hughes and horvat IMO. He doesn’t have to panic just say no if it’s not good enough. |

Meh. It's a matter of personal tastes. If there's one thing I've learned from your posts though, it's that there's bigger homer morons out there. - Load Management
Was never a Bob Cole fan, Danny Gallivan was my favourite.
So what’s up with Demko, and please don’t give a Lordy answer of patience, he makes spectacular saves but I don’t like the goals he gives up.
And for everyone else, Miller turns the puck over more than any other Canuck, throws it to the middle of the ice in his own zone multiple times a game. |

When not winning & feeling good about themselves the warts show.
Scoring depth is evident. Overall depth is obvious. JR is absorbing both the hot & cold streaks. Pretty certain major change will happen. |

NHL schedule makers seriously afraid of the NFL. Canucks/Caps at 2pm eastern is the only US game. Oil/Jets postponed.
Bounce back game, 6-5 Canucks, Myers with 3 pts and a + in 25min of ice, shutting up the haters. |

Demko will be fine He ain't no Markstrom. But at a 4GPG clip the kid needs a break from that pattern. Regardless how 'good' he's playing lol. Concept seems to be lost. |

Well Horvat finally scored after something like 15 days since the LA game lol big positive there hopefully he goes on a streak. Soon the trade Brock train will be back (if not already) and pack up Miller as well. Petey looks like he needs an AHL conditioning stint or a tour of the Roxy. Garland has been invisible. Myers Hughes and OEL are all stale at present. Demko apparently can play all 82 games with no issues so all good there.
And since Pettersson signed his big contract he's on the exact same points clip as Loui Ericsson so there is that too...helps that he's on the third line for sure.
And we have Ferris Bueller lovers here for some reason.

Sens are gonna have a very good squad in a few years you can see it developing. No worries on the Oil minor blip in the radar it will come. #Holland |

Sens will be good until teams figure them out, how they adjust and deal with it, young teams have to go through it. |

I liked them both. Gallivan was a strong personality. There was a guy named Ted Darling I liked as well that did the Sabres games back in the day. My Grandfather was convinced my Grandmother had a crush in him.
I think the biggest problem with Demko is lack of support. He's not getting many goals to back him. There's no margin for error in him and we've grown to expect near perfection with his game. We aren't outscoring anything he lets in at the moment. Nor are we getting the first goal to let him find his groove and settle into games. The quality of teams we are playing are putting a microscope on this.
Other than that, I think he needs game work. Practice is great for technical work, but too much can throw your timing off. Guys aren't generally laying out in front of shots the way they do in games. Defence is played with a different intensity.
As I mentioned in an earlier post I think he was starting to get things in the 3rd. Overall he'll be fine. He hasn't been that far off. One caveat, this is all my opinion. |

Quite the collapse in the 3rd lol, team defence stinks, mcdavids looks in the interview and all he could say was I don’t have an answer numerous times tells a story. |
