Huge impact lol. MacEwen fanboys are nuts. - Tomahawk
In all honesty he's what you like in a 4th liner. Problem is that's he ever will be. But I do agree, this whole "he tries really hard so move him up with so and so" is beyond laughable.
Yep. Ivan Provorov could’ve been a real stud, and has shown some flashes but probably another example of horrible development and usage due to management incompetency. At this point we know he’s not going to ever be The Guy, but he could still be a real useful player for a lot of teams in this league.
Instead, he’s been used up here. Confidence shattered by garbage coaching and personnel usage, such a shame. He’s so young that in my eyes I still see a real solid career for him, but again, that ship has sailed here. - FloHaake

The play he made driving the net off the wing with a big boy like Reaves ready to pop him is the kind of play every single player on this roster should be making 10-15 times a game. But a stiff is a stiff is a god damn stiff.
Another player who I loved and rooted for hard. Wanted him to be one of The Guys for this franchise. Defensive issues be damned, he was one of the only players drafted in the last 15 years who brought excitement and a different look to what you need to excel as a team in the 21st century NHL.

The big obvious miss was Patrick but otherwise, Hextall's drafting was solid. They need to continue the process but they lost patience. Now the team has been set back further with the incompetence of management. - MJL
The drafting was solid but the development has been horrendous, at best
Please..he has scored a few goals against teams like Brown. Arizona St not exactly college hockey powerhouses. He is already 22 so older then most all players are and not dominating against very average at best college teams. I know you are his biggest fan and likely related to him but he is not a serious prospect - hfc355
He had a pretty good year last year. Some injuries this year have slowed him down this year but he is back now. Let’s see what he does. BTW, he may choose not to sign with us. Who could blame him?
your felating of management is just very odd. This organizations management and development process all leave a lot to be desired. Any rational person can admit this.
Could have called up Hogberg. Point is York should have been up earlier. My bad that etar week in the AHL got him prepared. - hello it's me 2050
