Save for a decent playoffs, he's been pretty much slumping since the beginning of last season when he was still with the Devils. He has 3 goals and 11 total points in 38 regular season games with the Isles. That's a sub-30pt pace over a full season.

I believe he’ll bounce back but he needs to find some consistency and play with a little urgency. Seems to be lacking from his game more often then not.

He’s on the IR so he’s injured, that’s the reason he’s not playing. He will get a shot to get back in the lineup but there’s competition which is a good thing.

Nice to see Trotz back behind the bench.

I know Palmeri is hurt but he is eligible to come off the IR the day he is ready to play. I personally hope it is no time soon. He has been terrible. Call it a slump if you want. I'd rather see the kids play. That's my opinion and we are allowed one.
