None of us "realized it was time to move on", we realized that the team was going nowhere and we would be better off trading them now for assets and washing the stank off.

Problem is, they plan on doing the same exact thing as they did when they decided to trade Vanek, Pominville, etc...

No one wanted to trade Eichel or Reinhart. It wasn't "time to move on". It was "This ship is sinking, so unload as many of the women and children as possible".
