Do u consider that “interfering” though?
Seems to me that had to happen regardless of whether or not Terry said something
Also…. how did u hear that?
I thought u said your source quit a couple years ago after the Pegula’s decided they weren’t serious about hiring a Team President?
Not calling you out, just curious - jdfitz77

Irrelevant.
They had a mid-season lull and have snapped back to attention when they needed to.
Juggernaut. Can't be stopped. Won't be stopped.
I know you guys think it won't happen because "it's Buffalo".
Allen, McDermott & co have nothing to do with that losing past.
The narrative about this town is about to change thanks to these Bills. - Losman
It’s relevant bc you’re the ultimate homer & can never see the Bills losing
Weren’t u saying we’d go 16-1 & win the Suoer Bowl after the opening day loss???
At Arrowhead in the playoffs is gonna be a tough game
And KC is playing much better now
We played them earlier this season when they had their “lull”
If you’re gonna give ya a pass for ours,
then it makes sense to do the same for them
This is likely to be a really good game |

7 picks in his last 5 playoff losses - homiedclown
Conversely, Brady won the 2018 Super Bowl with 2 TDs and 3 INTs...
It's almost like there isn't 1 exact formula.
But if you can stop the run, and run. You have a chance.
If you have a great QB, you have a chance.
If you have a great defense you have a chance.
But USUALLY SB teams will have one of the above, and at least be moderately ok at the others.
Feel free to flame away as I fence ride this 4 month old debate like a pro. |

I don't think they specifically said trade him to Vegas (they may have said send him west, but to me that's a smart move anyways. Everyone needs to prepare themselves for Jack to put up 5 points against us yearly, in two games. It's going to happen. No need to see him 5/8 times a year.) Being hands off means being hands off. I think they have some decisions on personal, whether that's front office down to players still here. They don't like being embarrassed, who does. I feel their fatal flaw is that they see the Bills running like a well oiled machine and stay away, while they see the Sabres flounder and try to fix it by being hands on. Problem is, they don't fully know what they are doing. Feel free to disagree, I don't have any info, just notice things from a FO/On ice personal decisions that aren't made with the other franchise they own. - SDSabre
I’m not agreeing or disagreeing
But i think it’s fair to ask if the “interference” is STILL going on?

Honest question, what has Adams done to deserve team president role? - ImThatGuy
He’s learned a lot…
Thinking the Pegulas are a safe bet to repair the organization…anyone else pay attend the last 12 years?
They struck lightning with the Bills, they have continuously failed with the Sabres, along with shipped off any talent that questioned Terry’s ego. Ownership is a joke, other owners are now going public (nhl article I linked earlier) exposing the ineptitude that is Sabres management.
Be careful what I wish for? Current ownership is the number 1 problem and has been for a decade, my wish is for new ownership willing to put experienced people in place to attempt to win, not the draft lottery, win games. |

1- i don’t remember hearing that
Was that reported? Or do u have a source?
2- even if that did happen…. is that interfering?
Was the NYR offer significantly better than the Vegas one? |

Gerbe has dropped hints that they are going all in for Pat Kane im 2023.
That has Pegulas written all over it, IMO.
plus 89 has said Pegula wants Kane. |

You are also the one after week 5 last year guaranteed a perfect season for the Bills. Slow the role a little bit. They crushed a team they were significantly better than. |

That would probably be a bad idea
But now we’re just speculating about something that hasn’t happened yet
And frankly…. It likely won’t
Kane doesn’t wanna come back here unless we are a winning team again
I know this for a FACT, i know his family & have met him numerous times |

Unless NYR was offering Laf, Schnieder/Lunqvist, a first OR Kakko, Schnieder/Lunqvist, Kravtzov, a couple of firsts
I would have sent him west too. I would have made them significantly overpay |

Off ice, what has Nick Lidstrom done to deserve the VP of hockey ops title in Detroit, where he'll "be involved in helping Steve Yzerman run every aspect of the team's day to day operations, including evaluating pro and amateur players"?
But everyone looks at that like it's a genius hire before the guy even makes one decision. |

I don't think it's unfair to assume that they are still involved. Why would you think they just step back. For the record, they have every right to be involved. They own the team. Is it the best course? IMO, no, as they have demonstrated that they aren't exactly the put it together type of owners.
My question to you is why after 10 years of interference, would you think that they would just decide to be hands off? Especially after finishing dead last last year? It would take an incredible amount of self examination to look in the mirror and say maybe I'm part of the problem. Maybe they have, but I doubt it,
Winning cures all, and if they are involved and the Sabres start winning, more power to them. |

he was tired of the eichel antics and wanted him gone at all cost after last season
they also told adams to round the roster with 750k roster guys
also said sign this kid from penn state
it's not as hands on as before but..............
telling them to round the roster on the cheap and move your franchise player is none the less hands on

the only formula I see is you need an upper tier qb to greatly enhance your chance to be in the conference title games, the super bowl and to win the super bowl
3 of the best qbs in the afc will be playing this coming weekend as will brady, rodgers and probably stafford |

Went from firing 3/4 of the organization to hiring a pretty good hockey department. Seems to have done pretty good drafting so far. Guess we see where it goes from here. |

UFAs likely weren’t coming here unless we severely overpaid them anyways
We traded Jack & Sam
This year was gonna be a BUST and a rebuilding year no matter what

First off, WE ALL KNOW Jack asked for a trade. It's been widely reported from everyone.
Second, there's no point to spending any money this year on players anyway, and everyone knows it. They're setting themselves up, cap wise, to be players in free agency (whether they can get players to sign here is irrelevant). |

that was all the motivation he needed to retire

this was the 4th time eichel requested a trade
and is it so hard to throw a little cash at a goalie in case the team gelled?
if the sabres end up picking 8th or higher it's literally a wasted year
it's like they pushed their chips all in to try to get a top 3 pick when there is no guarantee that will happen which destroys the morale of the players, coaches, and fans
