Simon is having a hell of a 3rd period...at least 4 great defensive plays and he put Pietro on his ass. - Pags
He sure is a smart player. I'd rather play him than Aston-Reese in our lineup. |

It had me all hyped up after. It ended like 2:00am but I didnt get to sleep until after 3:00. I was just starting to doze in the 2nd when they turned it up and banged away 2 quickies...that gave me a jolt...
Here now assessing my Yahoo Fantasy roster and if I can fit Zucker in or if I should even try and if so, who would I drop to do so...currently 1st in my division...but Zucks had 2 goals and 7 shots last night...looks like he will stay with Geno...but then again he didnt produce that well with Geno last season and hasnt produced very much when playing this season. Still though, I have this feeling I will regret not picking him up....what to do, what to do hmmm |

ZAR has fallen in love with the hits stat and quit doing the things that made him a bona fide NHLer. Specifically he doesn't win the one on one battles or create havoc in front of the net. Anchor-Reese never did handle the puck well but his hands were good enough to bang in a few rebounds.
Blueger is on a three game point streak, his fancies are as high as can be expected. In the four games away from ZAR he has a nearly 60% corsi and is 4 GF against 0 GA. I read numerous times how it was ZAR who drove Blueger's numbers. Now I expect a 10% increase in those numbers with his return.

I was asleep during the third. I saw the replay, but couldn't tell, did Zucker tip Kap's shot? |

Pretty sure it hit his leg or skate on the way in. He wasn't credited with it until after the game.

Ok thanks, that's what I was trying to find out. It would be great if the flood gates start opening for Zucker now. |

He was completely back on to shot, couldn't see it and it barely changed direction...after now watching 4 different angles it does seem to barely skim Zuckers stick |

This penguins season has been a really pleasant surprise, I have to say. A lot of things needed to go right for us to be able to compete at a high level since we were limited to marginal moves in the offseason for various reasons, and pretty much every single one did. If you had told me this offseason that Evan Rodrigues would be more productive than Brandon Saad I would have laughed at you.
IDK where we’ll go from here with all the UFAs we have but I’m certainly enjoying this dead cat bounce of a season. |

Guentzel leading the league in 5v5 goals and having an elite offensive season has been a really touch too. He has only been held off the score sheet 5 times this season. Really good year for him. |

Lol, yeah saw that after. Being from NY, guess it was dumb of me to believe that anyone could outvote NY. Still glad for Jake, he deserved it more than Mika anyway. |

Penguins forwards Zach Aston-Reese, Danton Heinen and goaltender Casey DeSmith are all present for practice.
FWIW.
I wonder if this rules out Domingue for this week's back-to-back games.

Mike Sullivan says Drew O’Connor is being evaluated for an upper-body injury. He’s week-to-week.
Danton Heinen, Casey DeSmith and Zach Aston-Reese are out of COVID protocol. Sullivan said they’re technically available, but whether they’ll play is a different question. |

He also only played because DeSmith was on protocol. Personally, I want to see more of Domingue.

Finally watched Many Saints of Neward. I actually really enjoyed it. The final scene was a little.. meh but overall I thoroughly enjoyed it. You really saw where Tony learned all of his habits. And it definitely wasn't from Johnny Boy haha. I'm not really sure what people expected? It was like a flashback to an episode, and really that's all I wanted haha. |

Like I said when we were discussing this, overall I did like it and seeing all the crew much younger, but I would of been fine with it being another hour and seeing Tony get older and closer to when the show started.

I have a feeling there's a "sequel" to it. I really hope there is at least. Man that Giuseppena chick was smokin in the movie but in real life, she's not as hot when she's not all Italian'd up lol |

I think what people really wanted, although I agree with you, was more of young Tony and Richardie together. I enjoyed it, too and I think there will be one more movie. I watched an interview with David Chase and he said he's very open to another movie as long as the script is right.
