Thanks for building the excuse for me. Rodgers defense just wasn't as good to hold teams down 12 points.
Winky face - SDSabre
there are two very good games featured this week in the great beady/homie-led QB zealots vs. pegulaville run/defense debate:
packers have a hall of fame qb in 2021 first team all-pro aaron rogers who carries the team through the air...they do not have a top-10 defense
niner's have an average qb with a top-10 rushing attack (#7 yds, #6 tds) and the no. 10 defense (pts-against)
bengals have a qb in burrows with the second-best qb rating behind rogers with a defense ranked worse (17th) than the packers (14th)
Titans have an average qb with a top-5 rushing attack (both yds and tds) and were 6th in points-against...
who ya got? |

Split
Packers and Titans.
And can't wait for the atoadaso's. They're gonna be flying regardless. |

That's dumb and super expensive. Try this on for size.

It's a super (frank)in Nicky Sam. The 22-23 offseason is officially declared the winner.
Grit? Check
Mullets? Super check
Smarts? Out of this world check
Faceoffs? Galactic check

With Montreal tearing it down, would you be interested in any of their players?
I would be kicking tires on Druin and Anderson |

Hoffman too as a potential olo PP replacement depending on what happens there. Hoffman could replace Olo's production there, and because Hoffman makes $4.5, the price to acquire might be low. 2 more years on that deal when the Sabres don't need to pay anyone. Could gain a pick while getting similar production |

Anderson's availability, contract, and production make him a shaky proposition for me. |

Doesn't his wife dislike Swedish defensemen?

I think Sabres fans underestimate how good Dahlin is with the puck. Sometimes he can get too cute but 99 percent of the time he makes the right play. Never see him give it away on outlet passes and is very creative in opening up lanes in the offensive zone.
This kid is just getting started. |

The average fan has a hard time understanding this. Going to be a lot of crow served down the road on the Dahlin doubters

If he learns to carry the puck for offensive zone entries and would continue to the net after a pass we will have the best offensive defenseman in the league
Not sure if it's the system or Krueger Stink is still there. Active defense is something missing on this team. |

Devon Levi is on track to beat Ryan Miller's historical, Hobey Baker winning college season.
Miller
1.32 GAA
0.950 sv%
10 SO
Levi
1.31 GAA
0.955 sv%
9 SO
Keep in mind that Levi's team is far inferior to that of Miller's. He has 13 games left I believe. |

david savard...solves the top-4, rhd situation for 3+ seasons at $3.5m...
the lowest of the first rounders, or even buffalo's second rounder might be very enticing to a team hell-bent on barreling to the bottom of the league |

That’s pretty cool
But the comparison ends with College hockey & doesn’t necessarily project into the future |
