The average fan has a hard time understanding this. Going to be a lot of crow served down the road on the Dahlin doubters
- Wanchuk

Aren't we all average fans on here. And Dahlin has played very well over the last month. Let's see where it goes from here, he still has work to do.

I’d say most here are of the “die-hard” or “super fan” variety…. and not really “average”

Talking about the team on a message board daily (for example)

I don’t think the “average” fan is that invested

there are two very good games featured this week in the great beady/homie-led QB zealots vs. pegulaville run/defense debate:

packers have a hall of fame qb in 2021 first team all-pro aaron rogers who carries the team through the air...they do not have a top-10 defense

niner's have an average qb with a top-10 rushing attack (#7 yds, #6 tds) and the no. 10 defense (pts-against)

bengals have a qb in burrows with the second-best qb rating behind rogers with a defense ranked worse (17th) than the packers (14th)

Titans have an average qb with a top-5 rushing attack (both yds and tds) and were 6th in points-against...

who ya got?

Miller
1.32 GAA
0.950 sv%
10 SO

Levi
1.31 GAA
0.955 sv%
9 SO

Keep in mind that Levi's team is far inferior to that of Miller's. He has 13 games left I believe.

I've been trying to pump breaks for a while now, I really can't. He reminded me of another Montoya or Krahn, but he has simply mastered the NCAA level. At his age, that should mean he can grow into a pro grame, exciting stuff. Portillo is still no one to sleep on either.

I get the point you're making, but his sv% (on a bad team) is pretty unrivaled. Perets is having a hell of a year too, but there's no comparing teams there. Only other guys in the neighborhood are seniors on decent to good teams. This is pretty remarkable.

agreed 100 percent

goalies are tricky though playing at the next level

and their situation IMO is important

look at MAF last year vs this year
he hasn't changed but the team in front of him has

That’s pretty cool
But the comparison ends with College hockey & doesn’t necessarily project into the future

Take a better Oline to protect are Franchise Qaurterback and the Running Back will fall into place.

For sure, funny I thought of Hutton but MAF is the better example.

You're not wrong. Just really like his game, the LIU (LUI???) game I finally got to watch and he's skating is smoother than the other side of the pillow. Those guys had nothing to shoot at all night.
