yes we are excited about them but they could end up topping out as mid tier guys.

Krebs has a lot of growing to do over the next two seasons, IMO. He seems like a fit as 2nd line center who is primarily an assist guy.

Plus, he still has the rest of this season, AND the offseason, to continue to develop

Maybe he’s not “ready” right now…?
But that doesn’t mean he won’t be ready to start next season

Asplund has played pretty well this year
He’s proving (imo) to be that utility type guy that can play different roles in different positions, and slide up & down the lineup
Jankowski is just a dude imo, replacement level player

So yeah, it’s “COOL” that Levi is having such a great season
Just doesn’t necessarily mean much moving forward

I didn't mean it as a confrontational question, I'm just curious as to your reasoning. This team has no reason to remove cap from its books. We'd have to pay a team to take his contract. I can't conceive a reason as to why we would desire to remove him.

anyone not a future fixture on the sabres should be moved this summer

if you are not bringing okposo back for a year or 2 after next season, move him this summer as it can easily be done

time to turn the corner


and I think you can move him if you eat a few mil and not give up anything

then use that 6 million cap or 3 if we eat 3 mil, for a long term fixture
