Imo once the new GM is decided upon talks to extend Boeser will start in season. Sooner the better to gauge the future of the roster.

I am okay with a big trade but I doubt one will happen.

I am not sure there is a domino effect. I don't think the Canucks are looking to rebuild. They will probably come to terms with Boeser this summer and reevaluate Bo and Miller next year.

I don't believe the rumors JTM is unhappy here. Winning can make players very happy very quickly.

I could see a Poolman and Penisson buyout to make numbers work and bring in someone cheaper and better.

Did Miller eventually move his family to Van? I believe he was unhappy about being away from them... why wouldn't he be? If that situation hasn't changed... I doubt he is resigning or ever planned to.

I think the Canucks had Thanksgiving day at the Millers (including his enemies the Horvats).

I think the Miller clan resides in BC ( not positive but I think so).

No league is like the NHL when it comes to pukey journalists. They are like piranhas especially in Canadian markets. Ya sure players react as they do but idk anybody that would enjoy facing the onslaught reporters set them up for. Heck Hank got slammed cuz so called not tough he just took it & wouldn’t bite. The GM & coach should take more heat in front of the media. Players don’t run the team or dictate rosters. I don’t sympathize with players I simply think they take too much of the heat. The media builds them up in the good times so they can rip them to shreds later if they choose.
