Glass half full I’d rather they do this dumb poop now - blowing leads, not playing good team D, trying to just outscore teams to win etc. Losing when they do that stuff SHOULD make them wake up & realize that all the coaches who have yelled about it not working maybe knew what they were talking about.
I mean when they were getting wins in past seasons doing that stuff and then lost come playoff time when it didn’t work you can argue they didn’t change what they did because it had worked. They decided they didn’t care if coach said it wouldn’t in the playoffs they knew better because it had worked all Season.
Id rather they lose now playing that way and learn and change and just get into the playoffs playing the right way. I think that’s more likely to bring playoff success.
Coaching this team must be so frustrating in knowing they have the talent and ability to Oaky the right way but also enough skill they can get away with not having to do so all the time - Cush29
It’s why I said I was glad it was an ugly score. They haven’t played a full good game in a while and have either gotten points or come close. They needed a slap in the face.

Holy poop these questions from the media are garbage.
Does anyone have an actual original question or we just going to recycle this fluff every single game.
1 game for the leafs but no wonder drasaitl had no patience the other day. No offence to mark masters but those were lame ass questions too. I’m not a media professional but I could’ve come up with the same questions in about half a second. |

Need Henny back. He asked decent questions. And I think the players legit liked talking to him since hes a good dude. |

Big time! Wife and I met him, Joe Bowan and Jim Ralph in Nashville the day before a leaf game at a bar and sat and chatted with them over a drink.
Henny was exactly as you would think based on how he is on TV - such a nice guy. All 3 of them were super down to Earth and the banter between Bowen and Ralph isn’t just an on air schtick. They were hilarious and are clearly good pals.

If you listen to what Keefe said after the game, he doesn't agree with you.
Also called the Leafs' game "soft and purposeless, exposed in a lot of areas. This one should bother us greatly". Well said. |

Great 1st period again, tired in 3rd (more cardio required)
Hits 31-12😔
Shesterkin won it with multiple big saves in the 3rd
Bad d positioning (38,37,23,33,44)
Thank god for Brodie
Tough night for Jack. Reporters with some stupid questions🙄

Called no goal for Matthews and this was called a good goal. Only difference? The one that counted was legit soccer kicked into the net.

That's the best line I've seen to sum up this team. The sky's the limit, If they want.it badly enough.
Lots of games yet. A season of ups and downs. We've upended a lot of top teams so far.

Only reoccurring the past couple weeks. For most of the season it's been really good. We're missing a third of our D tonight though. TBH I'm equally unimpressed with the forward's coverage. They should be stepping it up when our D is this thin, but it's been ugly all around. - UsernameUnknown
Your head is in the sand or someplace else if you think this d group can take a team deep in the playoffs. |

Great 1st period again, tired in 3rd (more cardio required) Agree, 2nd period also lousy
Hits 31-12😔 Leafs not nearly as tough as the Rangers, Kreider very dirty and very good, Reaves with 2 questionable goals for his first two this decade and uncontested goonery
Shesterkin won it with multiple big saves in the 3rd Was the best goalie by far
Bad d positioning (38,37,23,33,44)
Thank god for Brodie

Also JT sucked ass, no push back, no pressure was a limp Richard when action was required

Neither should have counted.
Or change the rule and allow kicked in/redirected goals. |

If by some miracle Nazem Kadri wins the Art Ross...will he be histories greatest anomaly? Or would that be reserved for Jamie Benn still? |

This schedule blows. The only nights I have anything going on right now are the nights the Queefs are playing...
... kind of glad I missed that one though.
Another blown lead? Soft as slime? Nice alliteration? |
