I just wish we could find another grinder to play on Barzal's wing - keaner17
Amazing how JT, Crosby, etc. make the guys who play with them better no matter their talent, but Barzal needs all Star wingers to make him Play better. 🤔 Interesting |

Barry Trotz says consistency has been all over the map with Oliver Wahlstrom lately. Says Wahlstrom is still a big part of the team. Just looking to rein it in, not just Wahlstrom but other guys on the team with regards to consistency.
"Not just Wahlstrom" Well, we've seen Beau get benched. Bellows....but who else? If you want to make a statemenet, sit #12, who makes turnovers night in and night out. But you're going to kill that kids confidence over time. |

I'm with you. I'll keep watching/hoping, but I think we all know the reality here |

I'm not sure they are built to win in the playoffs.
Of course I'll keep watching. I just don't expect anything this season. It's over IMO. I would like to see younger players play to get experience. Let's give them a chance and see who they are. I also don't think there is a chance in hell of that happening. - JimmyP
You’re not wrong. |

Yep. Unfortunately we’re all aligned with the same thought process at this point. |

You should send Wally flowers with a note telling him he’s playing well.

Love you trotz but let’s call a spade a spade there’s a reason why you’re starting to get called out. Some dumb stuff I’m done theorizing for whatever the (frank) he’s doing at this point trying to figure it out. |

I get that but honestly do you think Wally makes the difference tonight?
Also big one against Chelsea tomorrow, we win? - nyisles7
I predicted a draw in the pool I’m in but I think we could have it in us. They’ve been scuffling lately, we’re the only team they’ve beaten recently.
How about that Leicester match? That was sick. That almost made all the kicks in the balls worth it. Reminded me kinda of the Ajax CL semi. |

Chelsea has been struggling and I think Conte will have them ready. 🤞🏻 That whole CL run was awesome. I thought they played better than LP. The Leicester win was awesome. Kane starting to ding his rhythm. |

It's Pageau's fault for not making him better.... |

Anyone on his wing at this point. It certainly isn’t Barzal’s fault. The Islander Fans know that. |

Well, we all knew Barzal was a failure when he couldn't turn Leo into a 50 goal scorer like Lemiux and Brown |

Of course. I think you’ve covered the whole Girls Clubs narrative now
Which I don’t understand honestly because you are better than that as far as knowing the game. |

Yes, and certainly any intelligent person would think that Komarov was the absolute best option in the playoffs as a first line winger. I mean that’s just common sense right? Who the hell would question that? Without him there we would’ve been a defensive mishap and lost 2-0 instead of 1-0
