If you don't give anything away for Giroux but just sign him as a UFA for a lot less money than he's making now and for a term no greater than two years then I would say fine but Giroux would probably tell me to go screw myself. I don't think there's a deal there that would make sense for both Giroux and the Sens.

Dorion on the other hand just might see an opportunity for disaster and jump in with both feet
