I like the New York Dolls and I'm not a huge Rush guy, but it would not surprise me at all if Rush were better live lol

I got in with my older brother's ID to this one. Rush was better than the New York Dolls - who were riding the Bowie glitter rock hype at the time.

I heard some fans complaining and media doinks that Simmonds and Clifford did nothing to push back. Kinda seems unfair when they really weren't on the ice.

Honestly think that Keefe needs to do a better job of mixing those guys in when some push back or emotion is needed... I have no issue with Simmonds playing with Matthews or Tavares for periods of time.

And perhaps they should insert Ritchie (not sure if he's on COVID protocol or not) for a bit of a different look against the Isles

Clifford is a waste of a roster spot for me, he can't play hockey at the NHL level at all. Simmonds can play, the Leafs should have held onto Marchment, who is playing better than Ritchie is, and he's having success on one of the best teams in the NHL. Dubas needs to find young tough wingers not acquire older tough guys that can't skate.

What helps the Leafs more, replacing a player like Mikheyev or a player like Holl? Leafs need to start drafting a few solid 6'2"+ dmen that can play solid defense, the Amirov draft was a perfect opportunity. Both Schneider and Guhle project as top four defenders. Schneider already taking a regular shift on a very strong team, lets see how much Amirov contributes to the Leafs next season.

Let's revisit this thread in a few years when we can potentially make some valid comparisons. The jury is still waaaaay out on how these players will sort out.

Having said that, I'm not entirely convinced Amirov remains a Leaf by the end of this season.
