Pretty impressive game consider we had 45% of Abbotsford in the lineup and really should've won. |

They held their own. Each player did their job and it could have easily been a Canuck victory .
Solid defensive game . - VANTEL
Yep impressed with the effort and manufactured a Bettman point in the end. Spencer Martin was jacked for the task which was nice to see. Good on the boys for the effort vs arguably the best club in the league. |

are you basing this on the one bad pass up the middle to the panther that Martin saved.
Myers was solid for 20:50 out of 20:55 played |

It's good that he might be the best defender in the u20 in Sweden. Not great that most have full time moved up to SHL.
Canucks need to find a better development path for their youth.
Victor Persson seemed to have started out great in Kamloops but by the game sheets, he's gone from 1st pairing to offside on the 3rd pair now. I haven't watched a Kamloops game but not good if he has gone from 1st pair to 3rd pairing as a 20 year old. - manvanfan
The kid is only 18 years old, who cares if he isn't playing in the shl.

58 goals against in 40 games 5v5. It's the best in the league.
Islanders would have to give up only 1 5v5 goal in the next 7 games to be as good as the Canucks.
Carolina has 59 goals against in 3 less games than the Canucks.
LA has 41 games played but allowed 66. - manvanfan
So the Canucks have a decent group of 66’ defensemen. Need more 200’ game to be considered the best me thinks. |

Florida looks like a different team on the road, very ordinary, I watched the oilers game and bobrovsky was brilliant, that wasn’t a 6 to 0 game. |

Best team 5 on 5 by a wide margin, who would have thought that. |

meh
I thought the only pairing that really pushed the play was Hughes-Poolman
The D1ckinson and Lammiko lines were solid too
What shocked me is how many good shifts the team had against the Ekblad-Weegar pairing, that's been a top 5 pairing in the league all season |

They could use another top end defender to move others down a spot for sure. |

I only watched about 10 minutes, but the Poolman-Hugjes pairing earned 2 foam brick tosses, during that time.
Highmore Lammikko and Motte looked very impressive as did Boeser. |

Well rounded club. Drafted pretty well and built around the developed picks. They could be good for awhile. |

I saw a few Boeser back-checks that stunned me. I didn’t think he had it in him. His foot speed is still a concern but he’s making smarter plays. |

It's a good thing all prospects have their own paths because his comparables the few there are, aren't playing in the NHL.
That would be why |

Interesting because they were clearly the best pairing for the team Agree with the rest though, Boeser looked good, his linemates not so much. |

As I said, I only watched 10 minutes or so, but in that time, Poolman's partner coughed up the puck once and attempted an ill-advised pas.
Not complaining,as even the teams best defenseman, Myers, threw one up the middle, very late in the game. |
