I'll tell you again, give the Flys time to get worse than the Habs. A 10 loss streak followed with a 2nd 11 loss streak, all while the season is basically half over.
- Bendecko

keep hoping bud, they'll never be as innovative as the habs in terms of losing games.

the habs still haven't won 2 games in a row lol... would be glorious if they managed to keep it that way for the rest of the season, this would probably become an NHL record of some sort.

i think hextall may have had the right idea, just trying not to make compulsive trade for the now like they'd done for so many years and dealing with the pain now to maybe have some picks in the draft and stuff. but he went about his day to day all wrong and everyone apparently despised him.
- kicksave856

A decent job of drafting, but his FA could have been better (he thought he wasn't ready to wheel and deal yet). But his way of running the show (if you could believe the rumours to be true) is probably what got him gone. And maybe a personality clash with the rest of the Good Ol' Boys club.

not having 2 ten game losing streaks is a pretty low bar, pat.

I'm a habs fan, so I wouldn't know.

I don't think there's any "innovation" for losing with your team, or with mine. Even if it's an intentional tank (not with the Flyers, they're just beat-up bad, and badly beaten bad when healthy, the beginning of the season is the tell-tale to that), the players are never going to go along with trying to lose (or not trying to win).

The sad thing is the Flyers always start games slow, get behind early, and pretty much give up long for stretches eve after they're even down a goal. They really suck at holding any lead. Some of that is definitely coaching, regarding personnel use (Yuck Fandle and his meaningless record).

yeah I'm aware of that, but I prefer consciously ignoring the possibility that they could ever suck as bad as this year, meaning that they've already hit rock bottom and that they can only improve moving forward.

were you expecting them to win against DAL, or go to OT against VGK? anything is possible...

I always expect them to lose, so I'm rarely disappointed.

the last couple of games have been a bit more interesting to watch, I hope it'll be the case tonight as well.

I'm sure Pete will have a great review of the goalie he didn't see not play.

oh I'm definitely expecting them to be brutally massacred, but it would be nice to be somewhat pleasantly surprised a third time in a row.

Drouin injured, back in Mtl.

"I'm sure Ducharme will soon ask Montembault to stop trying so hard/pretend getting injured/get on the covid protocol list, just to make sure you guys don't surpass the habs in terms of turrible playing and staying at the bottom."

Looks like this is the one they're showing on the NHLN, so I'll be helping by flipping back and forth with the football games. Probably better than watching today's DVR'd Flysh¡t game, even ffwding (considering deleting instead and just watching the highlights, or maybe not watch any of it at all).
