LOL. This is beyond ridiculous at this point. What a total dumpster fire.

To call it a dumpster fire is an insult to legitimate dumpster fires.

I couldn’t watch today. Have thrown in the towel. Will always have a soft spot for them but they are a waste of time until management decides to make big changes. Not sure what to hope for other than a headline either that the team has been sold or that Scott, Fletch and Clarkie’s crowd are gone. Sorrow it is, boys.

Same

I’ve been good. Mostly a lurker here these days. Trying to find any reason to maintain interest in team. It’s been difficult.

- funmaster18

I hear that. During the second period I gave some serious consideration to not watching sports anymore. When they trade Giroux, I'm going to try a trial fandom of wherever he lands. It's a pretty good plan, I assume whatever team I'm hopping ship to is gonna fleece us.

How stupid do the people who defended this franchise at every turn feel now?
- PLindbergh31

I’ve literally been saying this for almost 2 years. Finally at least some people are seeing this and getting on board. Nothing changes until corp run flyers are sold. Obviously they have zero clue. Just sell the (frank)ing team. They’ll be bleeding money soon enough. Very predictable actually. The fact whole staff and Fletcher and whole management team not fired tells it all

our defense had 4 hits. Cant get much easier to play against than that. Im bored with picking on the Mcewens and the bottom six. Lets pick on the top line guys that should be carrying us a little more than they are.

This organization needs much more than trading Risto and G. Konency has been on my own personal poop list since the last time we made the playoffs.

This franchise continues to pretend it can get players drafted in the middle of the first round to carry them.

It simply doesn't work. They have tried to push nearly every button except one for the last decade. Blaming any of the players at this point is just lazy.

Just saw Allison injury on Twitter. Who cleared this kid to play? Add another problem area to the list.

Next up Dallas and Rags I bet some of their players get the philly flu 😆 🙃🙃🙃

Is it rangers or isles. Doesn’t matter. If by Philly flu you mean a hart tick then yes.?

After that 06-07 season, they spun up some trades, added to the roster and hopped back into contention. We literally just pushed that button this past summer. The afterburners have already been used up. I just don't see a dramatic turnaround like we had after that season.
- BulliesPhan87

Me either. I think this will take a while.

You can if you draft and develop properly. We've had 2nd overall pick twice and it amounted to very little

So strongly disagree. You don't win poop in this league without at least some top tier talent.

Flyers continue to try, and prove otherwise.

They had the top 2 pick twice yes, and quickly believed it just takes one year of sacrifice to acquire the core needed to compete in this league. It doesn't take one season, and it sure as hell wont next year if they try to forcefully accelerate things again.

Getting smoked by the Sabers is just brutal. To make matters worse, Alison and MacEwen injured. I pray the Flyers make some moves at the trade deadline? Things can't continue this way.

With the sorry state of the Flyers this year, is there any chance that a good free agent would even consider signing with the Flyers this off season?

We are losers. We have fallen to rock bottom, crawled under a large rock, only to have it fall on our head. No where left to go but up. Who knows for how long we will be knocked out.

At this rate we will have the best odds at getting Wright.

That's literally my main priority.

- DrMidnite

Actually I think Logan Cooley is a much more dynamic player that would really excite the Flyers fan base. Wright’s #1 stock is still there but showing the first signs of teetering. Don’t be surprised if he is not the overall #1 on draft day.

Hart, York and Farabee are definitely players to build around. I haven’t given up on Provorov but that’s just me. I’ll tell you this, I really liked Laine’s game Thursday night. Big, protect the puck well, handles the puck well. By unpopular opinion, I have to admit. I would trade Farabee for Laine in a heartbeat. This might sounds dumb to many but at Laine’s age, I still believe in him.

I’m not sure this is rock bottom. Efforts like that and we’ll be the first team with a 10 and a 20 game losing streak. Yay

We literally had a dumpster catch on fire across the alley from my house yesterday -- took the FD about 30 mins to put it out.

Was way more entertaining than watching the Flyers.
