The thing with Leslie is, is he man enough to admit what he did wrong and learn from it? He is a good coach; he gets a ton out of his players. He knows he (frank)ed up the end of that game. I believe he can be a better DC from it.
I certainly understand firing him abd would not complain about it, but I dont need to see him fired if he demonstrates he learned from this. - lacaprup
as long as you are always in a 4-2-5
milano and edmunds will struggle
as long as your safeties are 20 yards down field
you will always struggle
the way he refuses to change his strategy, we will lose the games to the colts and other power running teams
teams with good passing option will always exploit the run
running qb's will always feast on us
we drafted 3 young pass rushers in the last 2 years for a reason and they can't thrive in current system
it's literally a waste of talent and will always keep us on the outside looking in |

Name me a defense that doesnt get torched by Mahomes or Allen when it matters?
If the Bills could get Aiden Hutchinson somehow...sure. other than that, nope all offense please. - lacaprup
We aren't only playing Mahomes, are offense is pretty strong as you pointed out. You can do both and make both units stronger. You people act like we didn't lose to Tennessee or New England. |

Yeah, I won't complain about firing him. |

In terms of not investing much more into defense, I'm actually fine with re-signing Edmunds as long as they realize who he is, and who he isn't, and then paying him as such. He has his weaknesses, but his size and mobility do cause teams to gameplan around him, which can be big. If he is willing to take a deal similar to what Milano did last year, and I realize it's a big if, it might be best to go with the devil you know. - buffalofan19
honest question, do you really think that's true?...it looked like the chiefs went right at him on many plays |

I will give you the Tennessee loss, but I see nothing from the New England loss that would lead me to believe the defense requires help.
And even in the Tennessee loss I believe Harrison Phillips is a much better player now than he was in that game. |

we lost to New England because the offense couldn't produce in a hurricane.
We lost to Tennessee because the QB fell at the 1 yard line.
We didn't lose to those teams because of the defense.
We lost to the Jags because the offense was bad. |

I honestly do. The Chiefs went right at him because they have the personnel make it not matter. Most teams don't. Any time you play the Chiefs at their best, you're going to be in for a track meet. That's never going to change unless Hill and Kelce are both out with injuries.

They ran the Ball down are throats, they threw the ball 3 times. Oliver is turning into a stud, we need another good DT to put next to him. |

They did. They did all those things, and their offense scored 14 points. 14. |

The Bills need a 6’ 5” 240lb linebacker that puts Tj Watt to shame

Oh that's right cause they didn't score on us. We lost because there were failures on both sides of the ball. |

the bills have studs at many skill positions:
qb
wr
cb
which really are key positions, espcially at qb...but they could also use more skill at lb, cb (as i feel you can never have enough quality therez,) de, te...
with davis emerging as another possible stud at wr, do they take a chance on jameson williams who's coming off of an acl injury where he went down untouched?

point taken, but i'd also argue that tennesse, indy and n.e. (in game one) went right at him knowing that finding and filling gaps aren't his strengths |

imagine blaming the defense for the offense not being able to score 15 points.
Enjoy building your defense, ill continue to take Patrick Mahomes and the chiefs and boat race you 99 times out of 100. |

Yes they do Pach's, and I really don't know about Williams. Really depends on who's there at are pick. |

like a super important guard or dlineman.
buffalo needs to draft more lineman, they have only spent about 10 picks in the last tow drafts on O/D line. |

i'm with you, guy...but i do think they have their tackles moving forward and mitch morse still has one year left on his contract...if they go ol, it'll probably be a guard (or ot that has og nfl projection) and real good ones can be found in the 2nd or 3rd round...
a stud de would be great too, but i'm thinking that the bpa at 27 just might be a quality cb or lb |

Most teams build from the inside out, and yes I would take a OL there if a good one is Available. I mean who cares if Josh takes a beating, or take a DT cause it helps my defense. It's about helping the TEAM get better. |

with mahomes, burrows, herbert already in the afc
and a good chance that rodgers and or wilson will move to the afc this off season
a cb might be the best pick with the first rounderer

cb mccreary
cb gardner (6 foot 3 in )

there's plenty of blame to go around coaching-wise for the loss vs. kc, but it's also best to remember that tredavious white was out...methinks the defensive scheme was altered, including 13 seconds onward, because he was not there... |
