I love me some narrative busters.

I like to think that open minded Rutherford hiring woman shows he has turned a corner from his support of wife beaters but when you look at who the finalists for the GM job were, you see Sean Burke who he protected in the past. So I'm not so sure it's sincere... nor are the people who don't question this.

Funny how almost no one wants to look at Rutherford's past when they keep talking about the new direction of this team and how excited there are for what he's done already.

He doesn’t drive play.
Needs a playmaker.
Doesn’t deserve or earned a raise.
One dimensional & paid to score.
Hasn’t improved his skating.
He’s 1 of 3 reasons for this season him Petey & the PK.

Summary: he’s not worth being paid 2nd most on the team. 7.5m👎. Top paid players carry others not vice versa.

Imo when comes down to age difference it’s a non factor. No indication Brock has a longer career ahead of him than JT. Aka he’s unlikely to age well going on his career to date.

Not much worth keeping, unless the team wants to be a fringe playoff team.

Miller is a good player and would much rather have him over Pouty, and Brock.
