No sh!t. What did you think they would do, just stare back and be silent?
The answers are what's troubling. - Pelle31Forever
I don't agree, his answers have been good IMO. |

About the only thing I agree with what has been said so far is the need to become a bigger/heavier team.
Of course that prob means resigning Risto and overpaying. - hockeylover
How about a fast skilled team? such an archaic organization. They will never ever get it.
Now up and coming GM will want to come here nor will a coach. They will get a guy looking for a paycheck like AV.

He said that? - hello it's me 2050
Maybe he was thinking Wayne Gretzky, Bobby Orr and Patrick Roy. |

Because he made ZERO sense? Maybe that’s why fans lost patience?
What was his plan? To acquire as much mediocre talent as possible? It’s been said for years they lack elite talent. They literally have had none. In a league that elite talent reigns supreme. He did nothing to acquire anything remotely elite. - Flyers1218
What should he have done specifically to acquire elite talent?

Na, What I read into his answer is Risto wants to move on ... |

Danny Briere is the next GM - jd250
The Country club shall have its way
I love Danny, but can they please please have someone without ties to this franchise come in for a fresh perspective?
Please?

The answers have been what anyone would say. Nothing earth shattering. We are learning anything new, but then again I wasn't expecting anything new.

I think you can be both fast and skilled and a little bigger and heavy team to play against. I'm kinda tired of seeing our guys get beat with speed and wallpapered along the boards. |

Nope, they have to be a 200 foot slow team that passed a lot but refuses to shoot lol. |

The GM, whose roster decisions has them doing a post-mortem on the current season with 39 games remaining, wants to make more roster decisions next year. |

I’d be ok with a forward group that could pass a lot
They literally can’t even string enough together to get to the center red line. |

It’s bad, they actually think there is a good team here yet say that their best player is a 34 year old soon to be free agent . It’s comical. |

you can, the flyers do not want fast or skilled. They can say what they want. Proof is in the lineup.
They are an archaic bunch who will never change. They favor 1 type of plyer over everything else

Hopefully “fire Fletcher” chants ring from that barn.
