I honestly forgot about him. He had that good first year then declined a little after that. Of course, he was 35/36 years old that first year, so declination was inevitable. But yeah, I didn't mind him at all.

Mike Sillinger for the HOF.

True I didn’t say I hate beau, just that he needs to be more consistent. We don’t need another Bailey on this team
- kasperrko

Beau hustles, Bailey doesn't. Beau may not be consistent, but at least the effort is there. Bailey just floats around waiting for the play to come to him.

All kidding aside he was a good, consistent, player on both sides of the puck. When the points weren’t there he was always doing the right things…. Perfect 3rd liner.

I want nothing more then to believe Beauvillier is wonderful and something other then a decent 3rd liner. The reality is there’s nothing to base that on imo.

This agree with but I think it has more to do with Bailey being so cerebral. He can bring the game to him, without moving, with his mind powers.

With regards to the poll placed on this thread. I do not think the Islanders should add anything for temporary if means giving up future assets. They have not proven that they deserve that consideration yet.

It was nice to see Parise getting rewarded with points. Hopefully the second half is his half and he can help balance production.

Disappointed in Sorokins shakiness last night. He is killing my push to keep him in the majority.

Every goalie has a stinker once in a while. Just glad it didn’t cost us the game.
I’m sure he will be back up to snuff next start.
Barry’s fortunate to have 2 solid goaltenders he can throw out there. Especially with the amount of games to be played this season in a short period of time.

I'm not really sure what the bolded means. He's maintained a 2.29GAA and a .926sv% despite the Islanders being mostly bad this year. His GAA is 8th in the league and his sv% is tied for 4th (both among goalies with at least 15GP).

Me thinks he meant whether to keep him as a member of the core going forward.

If that's the case then saying that after one sub-par start is probably not the best thought

Maybe it's the Silent Majority? Or the Majority Rules? I do think Sorokin rules and he's pretty silent

I used to think all Russians were quiet, if not silent. Then along came Komarov....

Komarov is only 1/16th (metric) Russian. So he doesn’t count.

Sorokin needs to be the number one goalie. The more he plays the better he is. Varly should only play back to back games and that is it

He may be only 1/16 Russian but he’s 100% playoff warrior.
