a majority of the fans here feel Lou's lack of replacing Leddy has hurt the team. While I am not a fan defensively, I do believe the Islander miss he offense. He is available, do you get him back for a 3rd? Potentially make have an offer at the end of the season?

He'd be a rental. This season is lost. The Isles aren't making the playoffs with or without Leddy. The upcoming draft is a good opportunity for the Isles to restock the cupboard.

Plus, d-men are typically in demand, so I doubt you'd get him for just a 3rd.

I do not disagree with you. Season has not gone as planned. The only thing not thrown at the Islanders yet is the kitchen sink. The only reason why I brought it up was I that a Wings writer seemed to think they would only get a mid round pick for him.

Lastly, I think this a good draft for isles to re-stock the farm.
