I completely understand the difference between possibility and probability. .

Probability just ranks the possibilities. More to the point, those who point to "look that's possible too" usually dont realize/dont know/dont internalize just how improbable "that's possible too" path is.
I hate the fact that ultimate success in a sport should be so correlated with things completely outside the sport.
It's truly weird how at the age of 18 (3-4 years before their far more scouted and publicly exposed NFL counterparts), those budding NHL players who are going to be even regular players is so much more predictable from draft position than in the NFL. In latter, a 2nd round player is expected to be a day 1 starter!. I don't understand this at all. It should be the other way around.
