You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. If the Flyers move Claude, they'll get a first and a prospect, no? That's not bad considering the work that needs to be done on the roster. - Only_A_Ladd
They will get that IF HE AGREES TO BE TRADED and if he doesnt limit the teams he will go to. |

He’s had a couple noticeable shifts….that’s a beefy line. |

I always read he wasn’t as physical as his size suggests but he’s proving that wrong so far today. |

I don't know him personally, but I would bet a large amount of money he only waives to go to a playoff team.

respectfully disagree. He is supposed to be an offensive player. Put him with better caliber NHL players. This way maybe he feels more comfortable. Less afraid to make a mistake. You are not putting him in a position to succeed on the 4th line.
If you keep him on the 4th line then just keep a guy like Cates instead. He will not get his nhl legs playing 8 minutes on the 4th line. - hello it's me 2050
Dont sweat it guy is not never will be an NHL player. Watch him skate. He was a below average AHL player. |

The upper levels at WFC have been shut off and everyone is packed into the lower bowl. Could be a good will gesture for those showing up despite the weather but it’s also a good optic for the tv broadcast.
Still a lot of empty seats. - Briere
Smart move for TV optics but imagine they guy who paid $200 for his lower level seat next sitting next to a guy who paid $20 to sit upstairs |

Exactly what the CC apologists use as an excuse to say how amazing he is. “He leads are team in points”. What a joke |

He’s going to waive. Idk why people think NMCs are cause guys refuse to move. It’s so they have say where they end up |

Of course it will only be a playoff team a non playoff team wouldn't want him. The ?? is does he limit the playoff teams that he would accept being traded to |

Apologists use the excuse that Giroux is good to prove that he is good, I think? |

Guy is invisible, going through motions doing absolutely nothing & gets a bs assist. The fact that that was his most noticeable play - a dump in from red line- is a joke |

If it wasn't for 2 shortened seasons, Cam Atkinson would have a chance at 9 20 goal seasons in a row. His trade value continues to look good if Chuck wants to move him. |

I have no doubt he waives. But we have to understand the destinations will be limited. Even if his list is EVERY team in solid playoff contention, not every team will be able to fit him or have the assets to make the return worthwhile.
It is what it is. And that is not on Giroux. If I were him I would want to control where I go as well.

I still cannot believe he did that on purpose. How did it rear up like that so high on Quick?? |

That’s a great point but be realistic in the return. Generally all NHL trade returns have been an “A” asset (1st rd pick or good prospect) and “B” (2nd rd pick or projected bottom half of roster prospect) and something else. Sometimes the “B” asset can be upgraded into an “A” if the team takes a cap dump but that’s been pretty much the return for every trade that I can remember in recent years. Top prospects are seldom traded because teams love the cheap salaries to round out their team and guys the level of Byfield, #2 overall pick with elite upside, are never traded anymore especially for a rental. - psuhockey
No. Number 2s are only traded for player who are always hurt and still have six years on their deals. |

Someone most likely paid the $200 anyway and just exchanged the game. Like I did. |

Might be the ice. A similar one bounced on Hart earlier in the game.
