Karine
Hains: Over Before it Started
The Oilers destroyed the Canadiens in a 7-2 rout last night and there’s little to be said about that game. - Karine Hains
I am glad they went outside the organization and got Gorton and Hughes - they have no personal attachment in these players, no "skin in the game" to make something out of a player they acquired to make themselves look good, everything is a clean slate.
The dismantling of this team cannot happen soon enough...

against the oh so powerful red wings, impressive!
and, since this is a habs thread, leafs slander is automatically an intrinsic part of it, and any attempt to impose your own set of rules will be in vain. |

Properly spelling, grammar, punctuation and all traditional writing conventions are a relic of our racist and colonial ways. |

it's as if HB was this powerful life coach, full of sophisticated wisdom...
to be honest though I (frank)ing hate those PETA expressions
the original ones are completely fine, and it isn't like using them would sway me into killing some birds or whatever lol... not everything has to change to satisfy someone's moral compass. |

In fairness there are a bunch of horrendous animal expressions out there that make you wonder how (frank)ed up people were way back when.
"There is more than one way to skin a cat"
That phrase opens up so many questions; Who was skinning so many cats that they needed to experiment with different methods of cat skinning to try and find the optimal way of skinning a cat and then discussing it so frequently in public that the idea became a common phrase? |
