If you go to the underlined in the bold portion, nobody (of any importance or authority) has said that they want to trade Garland, you can certainly be open to hearing proposals on all players including Bo, Hughes and Demko, doesn't mean they want to trade them.

Garland was the target had to take OEL to dump Beaqle LE and Rous. IS what it is. Garland is on pace for over 50 pts would like to keep the kid here but with different MNGT comes different visions. If they move him for assets what can you do?

Oh yeah I totally understand the thought process. I suppose it's tough since there's almost always going to be people who can't make playoffs by think point in the year, which would make it difficult to care too much.

For a team that struggles to generate scoring chances , trading your best 5 v 5 guy is nuts. Not only that but they want draft picks for him and we have a current draft guy that has probably the worst draft record in the last decade.

Hiring an analytics team and then trading Garland would be a pretty backwards move Hopefully they don't for your sakes!

Team badly needs change at the top, so they make change at the top, the new guys at the top may make changes to the roster that has finished out of Playoffs for several years, other than some gimmick systems a couple years ago, and fans are upset that they might be trading some players.
