1st up is players for JT then other dominos are easier to fall for picks. I like all of the core but with VGK leading the division & Oil with the big 2 & ever get tending leaves LAK on the rise followed closely by Anaheim makes PO’s a tougher road. Hence retooling has to happen. - Nighthawk
What is Miller worth?
What about something way off the board.

You’ll think I’m a dick for this but I don’t think you understand the coaching hierarchy at that level. I’m sure it’s a collective effort, but, make no mistake…the assistant coaches are carrying out the wishes of the head coaches systems. Assistant coaches don’t make up their own systems, everything goes to thru the head coach.
The team is playing better as a five man unit and PP units because of the systems Bruce Boudreau brought in, full stop. - LeftCoaster
Shaw has the D playing like the CBJ did. Shaw had his system already and I am sure Bruce sat back and said yeah do it like he said. I never took BB as a defensive master mind and he probably let the guys who knew what they are doing do it.

Assistant coaches do not operate independently, sorry they just don’t, not in my experiences anyways. I can guarantee with 100% certainty that Boudreau came in and said this is how we’re going to play. |

Or sit Miller for a game to send him a message. That’d hurt his trade value though |

I don't credit Bruce with the turn around with the D .
I think it is turning because Baumer is gone and Shaw is that much better.
Fix the scoring . If Petey is going to take another two years to turn his game around and Boeser is going to be a passenger then this is going to be as good as we get and moving Miller and Garland is a mistake. - VANTEL
Garland yes, Miller no. If this team is another couple of years away, keeping Miller is a hindrance to us. |

They have the most giveaways of all NHL players as they’re trying to create offensively. But stop doing it in OT or on the PP when guys aren’t able to cover up for you |
