Would be cool for a change if rather than move the team, just have a dispersal draft.
- winsix

And with the first pick in the dispersal draft, the Habs are proud to select Jacob Chychrun.

Winning playoffs rounds is the equivalent of a short term, non-lasting win.

It's great when it happens, but you end up forgetting about it sooner than later.

A cup win though, that's a feeling that lasts at least a decade.

- Scabeh

Perhaps, but a good run can have good memories.

Gary's being pretty stubborn about admitting he was wrong and (frank)ed up on this one.

Yup pretty much.

6 days into post surgery (ruptured ACL) recovery for our Golden. Hobbling around but able to put weight on it.

Get insurance - this was $7,000 and he’s probably going to need the other one within a year

- Canada Cup

Ya, we've already agreed that anything over a certain amount and unfortunately the dog doesnt get it.

One can only wish, the league is pretty watered down.

Mike Augello: Leafs drop the hammer on the Devils; Looking at options on D
- mikeinbuffalo

dufuss had better be looking for better options on d and some more sandpaper if ze wants his team to make it past the first round🤦‍♂️

greedy pencil neck for anderson+ comes to mind👍🏿

why are hole and derfuss still on this team🤦🏿‍♂️?

I’ll tell you why; dufuss is like smeagol with his precious only he has four little boi preciouses that he’s budz with so he will give them whatever they want so that he can touch the magic🤦‍♂️

this is why you need a proven, hofer gm like sweet lou who isn’t enamored with ze’s status🤦🏿‍♂️

if dufuss doesn’t make a huge move at the deadline, ala smith in 94 then he’s done and so is shelly 🤦‍♂️

what a (frank)ing joke🤦🏿‍♂️

edit: nice alliteration 👍

And at some point when you show your kids the brochure of that nice nursing home, they’re going to point to the price tag and “remember poor little Foo Foo?”

Is there a hockey deal with Manson and Rakell? Think Rakell is a guy who might sign a 1 year deal next season for fit.

Ducks are a small market team and with Rakell more than likely moving on and not being able to sign both Manson and Lindholm I wonder.

Leafs can plug a D hole for them with Dermott or Holl.

Dermott, Mikheyev, couple prospects like the ones in the Muzzin deal?

- Santo_44

Leafs have been speculated to like them both in the past. I'd assume they're 'talking'. I think both those guys net a 1st+ in a typical rental deal. Especially if they're eating salary.

February 1 was a huge day for me😬

transformational😮

last day in the military after 27 years🤔

it was weird the next day realizing that I couldn’t go to the same workplace and gym that i’d gone to for the past 20 years😭

more emotional than I’d anticipated😭

i had hoped to share this experience with my hb community that I have been a part of for many years🥰

to my everlasting shame, i was convicted of wrongspeak and banished until today😭

let’s make the most of it persons!🥰

go LEAFS!

then once they get bounced in the first round because dufuss didn’t do anything to address defense and passivity; go knights!

I don't believe that.

Rakell shouldn't have any more value than Hall last TDL.

Klingberg, Chiarot, Giroux, Hertl, Chychrun, Girodano.

Then you also have Miller and Fluery as very possible trade possibilities.

Not enough 1st round picks to go around and Rakell and Manson are in the De Haan, Kessel, Debrusk range. If not right there with them, a little higher.

I also don't believe the Ducks are in full sell mode for 100% picks. You are probably looking at NHL talent going their way. It will not be a rental for picks situation if the Ducks choose to trade some UFA's...and a rookie GM was just hired, he isn't starting his tenure in the league losing Manson, Lindholm or Rakell for nothing.

Rakell has Coyle value, he was traded for Donato and a 4th 2-3 TDL's ago.

Meh, its a dog.
If I cost my kids too much in several decades, then its time to put me down as well.

I think we can move on from Manson, not what Dubas is looking for, he's an UFA and he was pretty good many years ago. From what Ive seen this year, he's ok...but not sure it would be worth a 1st + for a rental.

Congratulations on your retirement. I packed it in at 55 and have been clicking my heels ever since. I could have worked until 65 and have more income right now but screw that, I’ve been fishing and kayaking for the last ten years.

Ducks are very much in the playoff picture, have a very good goalie - doubt they are trading a chance at playoff money away. Looking at the winning % needed by western teams to get to 96 points

Vegas .542
Flames .55
kings .571
Ducks .588
Oilers .588
Stars .615
Jets .663
Sharks .667
Nucks .694

Assuming Colorado, Preds, Wild and Blues are in that leaves the teams above fighting for 4 spots. Ducks have a decent chance IMO. So I doubt they are big sellers.

They have 3 big players heading into UFA and still not signed and they are not winning a cup.

They are a budget team, something will give there.

Not a good look for the rookie GM if they keep all 3 and they lose them for nothing.
