I'm not sure there is ever consensus but it was used by many. If you look back at his junior career, it was pretty crazy. He also had that great wjc. Either way the term shouldn't be tossed around so lightly is all

yep, people often expect kids to dominate in their first season. this is extremly rare. he's at the right place imo, learning the ropes, not on the top6, on a good team... perfect for him.
and some wanted Caufield on the first line...
