Eberle first Kraken to ever score in an Allstar game…and it wasn’t against the Islanders! I feel like the Islanders give up a lot of firsts. |

Isles need to take 3 of the next 4 on the road. Two against non-playoff teams and two against playoff teams to keep the dimming playoff light burning.
I think they can beat the Oilers because of the goaltending. Flames are going to be tough. Should beat Canucks and Sabres. But nothing is guaranteed except death and taxes. |

His new position: Chiarelli trade Liaison
Primary Duties: Initiate trade discussions with Chiarelli (and ONLY Chiarelli).
Overall Performance Goal: Rape Chiarelli for every asset they have for a used tennis ball and half-eaten lollipop.
Average Annual Salary: Nothing except the opportunity to sit in the same building as Lou! |

If they did hire him, the only way it could get worse is if they stole Holland away from Edmonton. |

5pts in 11 games and I didn't see him make too many glaring mistakes. Seems likely that the full roster is just healthy and he needs waivers to go back to the AHL...but I guess you never know. |

Ledecky has given you the green light. What three moves do you make? None of this fire Lou, Trotz crap. Legit moves.
Bellows stays in lineup.
Salo gets a spot in lineup with Chara and Greene rotating.
Sorokin gets the starts 3 to 1.
They are struggling. I know what the Vets can, lets see what the future has on a consistent basis. Not moving draft picks. - Nfdbulldawg
This is pretty much where I was weeks ago. It's been tough to evaluate bubble players the past few seasons because the team's been fighting for either the division or the playoffs. Unproven players understandably had very short leashes in favor of vets who have gotten the job done before. And the organization made offseason moves that seemed necessary at the time to fill holes.
But when everyone went down with COVID and injuries this season, we saw some players that we had written off show a little bit more than we thought they had. All of a sudden it seemed like maybe there were one or two in-house options that could have filled some roles after all.
With this season lost (and it's been lost for a while), now seems like a good time to take stock of what you have. Maybe you don't need 64-year old stopgaps in certain positions next season. Maybe you do. But you won't know for sure until you see what the bubble players can do with long looks in key roles, and there's an opportunity to do that now. |

I fully expect them not to take that opportunity unless forced due to injury/Covid. |
