Je pense aussi qu'ils ont fait ce qu'ils pouvaient au Québec avec les moyens du bord et en checkant ce qui se fait ailleurs. Ça veut pas dire que je suis d'accord, mais bon.

Moi je pars toujours avec le concept que le seul but d'un gouvernement c'est d'être réélu, et au Québec si tu veux être réélu faut avoir le vote des boomers. Et les boomers ont peur de mourir, fack tu mets les mesures les plus sévères pour leur faire plaisir.

For years, this pandemic was predicted and no one was ready. There are no more excuses for not investing in being prepared for the next one (which is inevitable), so unless concrete action is taken and actually done (rather than hollow promises), I think governments will suffer most on that come re-election time.

That's exactly what I did. I saw ROC and thought China and on top of that didn't remember that ROC always meant Taiwan. So this is a label which allows the Russians to compete (even though they're not allowed to compete. No politics in the Olympics? Ha. Go figure.)

I kinda feel the same way, if not for the fact of the strain on the health care system, and specifically, the people who have to deal with this poopshow day after day in what must seem like an endless horror story.
