Both last night and today have crucial errors. An appeal to hockey is the speed and the fact that there is always something happening. The last 2 days just drag out with long breaks of nothingness.

another rather significant appeal to hockey is the physicality, and obviously players will avoid any kind of contact if there's nothing important at stake, which is totally understandable. if they implement some sort of payoff though for winning the event, giving body checks wouldn't be as much of a pointless risk anymore.

Agreed on that. Making nhl players play a non nhl style game sucks. And 3-on-3 like this should be on a proper 3x3 rink
