I don't know if some of them are available where you live but there are a lot of damn good Quebec-made gins, I'm always trying new products.

yeah, my comment couldn't have been more sarcastic. I live in Gatineau, right across the bridge from Ottawa, and I've been following the situation pretty closely, and let's just say I find the whole thing incredibly dumb, for a multitude of reasons that I don't think is necessary for me to get in to.

and no, of course the majority of folks there aren't racist, but the fact that nazi and confederate flags were "tolerated" isn't a good look. also, I would argue that with so many people screaming "(frank) Trudeau", and that have "(frank) Trudeau" written all over the place on signs, flags, trucks, etc., it is kind of hateful. and also very childish.

yeah I think there were trucks that were arriving today and tomorrow, but maybe there was already a small bunch of protesters that were already there, I dunno. at least the protest organizers confirmed they wouldn't affect the Carnaval de Québec, families and kids deserve to have that kind of event right now.
