All I see are a bunch of people that will soon be in line at the unemployment office / welfare office begging for scraps. What kills me the most is that the US has basically implemented the same policy going southbound, so these (frank)tards don't have to worry about getting back into Canada, cause thye won't be allowed to leave unless the follow the same rules.
But you know, the MAGA (frank)s found the people they wanted to find to get a foothold into Canada and push their rhetoric, especially given Rebel News has turned into a pooppile of uselessness (for them to push their hate, and just in general, everyone else).

I agree there are some very strong Trump/MAGA/Qanon influences among the protesters and conspiracy theorists in general, you're always bound to find a few Trump flags here and there. heck some of them even believe that our dear old Donald is still in power, and that we'll eventually witness some sort of military intervention to toss Biden aside (like that was needed lol).
anyway, at times I'm thinking they could all just move to the states, or perhaps one of the provinces could become the 51st state, so that all these folks can finally have a place to call their "home", and shut the (frank) up once and for all about Canadian politics/society.
Logic has been in short supply since this 'pandemic' showed up, and continues to be so up in Canada. NHL is smart to reject the stupid, and just move things to the US, where there seems to be less stupid.

meh, as we already talked about you can't directly compare both countries, since they have very different healthcare systems. there are fewer resources/hospital beds in the free healthcare we have here, so you can't manage things the same way you would in a privatized setting like in 'Murica. but yeah I'm fed up with these (frank)ing measures, that's for sure.

yeah, I don't think I'm gonna join what I consider surely to be one of the dumbest things of the year. the year is still pretty young but I'm confident it'll at least make the top 5.
and btw, measures are progressively being lifted here in QC.

They are, but the rules around team sports are unclear (and that makes me sad). Also, the new health guy said earlier this week that all measures might be put back in 2 weeks.

oh, from what I heard we are going to move on and assume the risks. at some point the population in general will stop listening if they keep perpetually confining, not just the anti-vaxx.
