The chances of tanking and winning the 1st overall are ~25% – which means they're not picking 1st 75% of the time.

The chances of winning back to back 1st overalls while being the worst team in the league is a solid 6.25% – 93.75% not.

Don't see Bettman helping out the Habs like that, but I'll also have to ask Lordy/Nighthawk if that math checks out.

Also laughable that people want the Canucks to sell it off and tank

Does it surprise you that Ferland can no longer get his helmet on?
I realize you are disappointed about your fave GM Benning, not taking into account that Luongo might retire, but, the Habs players must have actually liked Bergeron and chose not to fuck over that organization and went to LTIR instead.

If Weber can not put on a skate he should retire like Luongo. Canucks will also pull this sh1t in a year or two with OEL .

Who is my favorite GM ?

It happens all the time GMs faking injuries .

Some one will have to replace Eriksson if he leaves as a free agent.

I know I said last year Benning's time was up. No matter what he did things were turning to crap.

I do think this team constructed though could be a decent team. It is a shame that they had useless coaches for the last few years but if this team is running smoothly I think it is a lot better than the standings show.

I have been impressed with some things this year . I like Schenn Burrows and even Jules right now . I am less impressed with the top end D but not complaining either. Maybe they are getting their stuff together under Brad Shaw ( I mean Boudreau)

Boeser will never be worth 7.5 though and Petey needs to get his act together.

I have enjoyed the last 7 games they have played( except the Flames game), but I still don't like the construction of this team and it isn't the defensemen, other than Hughes. These forwards just don't play strong enough or consistent enough.
It doesn't seem to matter who it is, other than this Liamikko line and Miller, the team just continues to play way to soft,. They barely play hard on the puck, they barely crash the net, the forwards barely touch anyone, etc.

Yup they need a face puncher that can play a regular shift. I wanted Hathaway before he signed with the Caps. I agree about soft players mostly forwards. I think this is one are Benning neglected and Rutherford might address .

They'll also need help getting to the cap floor maybe they'll take OEL back.

Late puck drop tonight (7:47 at the earliest), so we’ll be joined by #canucks GM Patrik Allvin in the pregame to discuss a number of topics.

I am still enjoying the games under Boudreau, just prefer when teams play more like Minnesota and Nashville, amongst others.
