We are going to find out soon who wears the pants in that family.
We will see if he was just trying to sell podcasts by rallying the troops with anger or if he has the stones to call the Canucks a bunch of clowns now that his wife is a big part of the circus.

What exactly did he say that got your panties in such a twist? |

If it was anything negative during the Benning era then chances are that he was spot on |

That's kinda what i was thinking.
Plenty of people were critical of JB and his management of the team.
Not sure what the foul was? |

New blog is up, and packed with vitamins and minerals as part of a balanced diet of hockey information.
I touched on the games, Halak, the coaching changes in Montreal and Edmonton and fresh voices in the NHL, all leading me back to the Canucks' latest management hiring, Cammi Granato.

I suggest you, and the others who are on about diversity hires for the Canucks/other places, read this article. It's quite good: it's about 9/11 and the CIA's hiring practices that arguably lead to their collective blind spots to the threat that faced them. Basically, a room full of middle class white men who hired middle class white men didn't perceive/recognize the threat that a Muslim man sitting in a cave possessed because their biases and backgrounds didn't pick up on the allusions, scale, and cultural/religious history that was being spoken to.
Here's the article: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-49582852
.
Whilst running an NHL team isn't the same as defending a country, the key similarity is in intelligence. Having a more diverse group of people with different backgrounds and experiences allows for less blind spots in the organization. It's a move away from the old boys club, and hopefully will lead to a better run team. - NewYorkNuck
CIA recruited, trained, armed and funded Bin Laden to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan. An Al-Qaeda proto group called the Mujahideen. This is a fact. Half a decade after the Soviets pulled out, these CIA assets attacked the World Trade Center the first time(96)... then again another half decade later successfully(2001).
Move forward in time to now when the CIA is more diverse and guess what? They are still recruiting Jihadists in the middle east to fight their proxy wars to topple governments. Syria and Libya most recently and that turned into multiple genocides at the hands of their proxies and the overwhelming of Europe with desperate refugees. They have learned nothing and hiring some woman didn't change this nor will it ever. They care not about America's safety or the worlds security. Wake the (frank) up...

lol well said. My old man worked directly with the CIA in correlation with the VPD when he was RCMP Special Squad at the Vancouver Airport in the early 70's at the height of the Vietnam war. I've seen some of his files back at the old house in his RCMP trunk. Some crazy sh!t bro...the 'woke' in here couldn't handle certain truths...

I think if you put the gender card away and look at the moves overall that were made this year by the club there are a lot of
We hired the Sedins as special advisor to a GM that is no longer here. What they were advising no one is really sure and seems more like a publicity move much like Linden. Both with no previous experience.
Next we hire a President who was terrible at drafting and on the back slope when he left Pittsburgh .
He hires his former assistant as GM with no previous GM experience.
Next we hire an analytic person who basically asked the owner to sell the team because he was useless.
Then we hire a pro scout to be our first AGM to run the scouting department . First time AGM.
Next we hire a player agent to be our second signing of an AGM again no previous experience at that position.
Next we hire another scout who helped assemble an AHL roster for the NHL Seattle Kraken. We make them another AGM of scouting . Again first time AGM no experience. Not only that but her husband ridicules this team on a weekly regularity.
So I get that a lot of people wanted the last group of managers and coaches out so badly that they would have welcomed Roberto Luongo as the new GM but man there are some huge question marks. - VANTEL

You can see just how well Rutherford is insulating himself. Anyone questions or disagrees with what he has done is instantly a sexist, racist old white boy. The irony since Rutherford backed wife beaters in the past and instead of distancing himself from them, has Sean Burke as one of the 5 finalists for the GM job... a wife beater he protected, made excuses for and tried to sweep under the carpet. No one cares because he hired woman.
It's as easy as that in this new age of woke public relations. |
