Why hire a guy you don't trust? If PA wants to make a major trade , I believe he has the free reign to do so. The perfect cover for JR , if it works , he was always in control, if not , he gave the gm free reign

Just playing around on CF two trades I personally would look at and will piss posters off are

Boeser to NJD for Mukhamadullin and Ty Smith. I would try to add Poolman to the trade .

Chychrun for Hoglander, a first, 2023 , Tyler Myers( retain 1.5 mil) , and a second 2024.

It is a big price but that should help fix the D now and long term.,

I agree on Boesers value but Smith is a really bad fit. Also, under no circumstances trade any 2023 picks. Much much stronger than this year

After all the shaming in here for questioning if the GM/AGM hires were the best available people, no one wants to even mention them when it comes to general managing the team. Its all Rutherford... where did all that confidence in here go?

Yes I heard the explanations how they are only just getting their feet wet and JR will have to ease them into it... which brings me back to my question... were these the best people available for the positions? Obviously not if they are learning on the fly and the man in the background who is 3/4 of a century old is running the show until they learn their new jobs.

It was actually Boston's first round pick that I used another trade to acquire. I didn't write down the whole 4 moves , that was just two of them.
