Well it was a bit more exciting than it should of been, but (frank) it. A win is a win.

Chara on the ice for all 3 goals.. so we will see if your quote from 1st page means diddly... I doubt it.

Good win last night and on to Edmonton. Just watched the highlights (couldn't watch the game). Freaking scoring outburst last night. Good on them. Looks like the Cappy line blender worked. Only comment(because I didn't watch it) is that Pulock needed to be stronger on that Pettersson goal. There's no way he should have even gotten to the front of the net. Don't know if this was already got brought up, but I'm not back-reading to find out.
Anyway, good day to all and look forward to another win in Edmonton. No offense Schweiner.

Uncle Leo still doesn't get the concept that it only counts as a goal if the PUCK goes in the net.

I am a fan of both Barzal and Chara, but they both had defensive issues last night. Chara is an old man whose routine was thrown off by the lack of games in the past week. Barzal seems to think, since he works so hard with the puck, he can just glide around when he doesn't have the puck.

Sadly, due to Milbury, we had Chara BEFORE he was a star and AFTER the game had passed him by.

He still contributes as a physical presence when he gets in his routine. But yeah, last night he looked more like a traffic cone.

When you try to rate Milbury's worst trades.......and it's a long list........trading Chara, a first round pick (2nd overall--became Spezza), and Bill Muckalt for the rights to negotiate with Yashin has to be in the top 5.
